The phone interview

Dear X，

         Had the phone interview today. Fumbled through some of the questions because I didn't calm down and think properly what they want to ask from this question. Oh dear.. I have no idea what I was talking about, and only after few minutes, I understand what they want, and at times I didn't hear clearly. Why did they not asked specific straightforward questions? 
         Anyway, tried my best at that moment, leave the rest to them. At least I gave it a go.
